Warwick Marsh – Organiser – National Day of Prayer and Fasting

Warwick-Marsh“This initiative to provide an indigenous perspective and voice for Aboriginal Christians to speak of their faith in Jesus Christ via visual communication is brilliant and greatly needed. It could inspire the faith of millions and could play a significant role in Australia’s redemption as the great South Land of the Holy Spirit. For so long we have given them platitudes instead of really listening to their point of view. Reconciliation has become a hollow word. Hopefully this initiative will change that and give our indigenous brothers and sisters a voice as First Nation Peoples.”

Peter McHugh – Senior Minister of Stairway Church Whitehorse

Peter-McHugh“Over the last three years I have actively pursued my education around the life and story of the first peoples of our nation.  This pursuit has taken me from the wonder of being amongst a remote aboriginal community in the Northern Territory, to the documented horrors of how European settlement was responsible for bringing destruction to the longest surviving indigenous culture on the earth and then into a passionate conviction that my God has a great plan for Australia that includes a shared life between the first peoples and those who have arrived over the last 250 years.  This project, I believe, will be an accelerant in the process of seeing God’s dream for Australia come to pass.”

Roma Waterman – Director Sounds of the Nations Oceania, author, worship leader, songwriter

Roma Waterman“I truly believe that an awakening in the Australian church can only be completely fulfilled when our Indigenous brothers and sisters are restored to their rightful place of being a voice in our nation. 40 stories is more than just telling stories. Its about listening. It’s about us all hearing the testimony of Jesus across the great Southland of The Holy Spirit. Unifying this testimony by traveling the land to film these stories carries such power and an expectation of what The Lord wants to release over every person living in our beautiful Nation. I am so expectant of what will come out of this project!”

Pastor Peter Walker – Council Elder – 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting 2016

Pastor-Peter-Walker“Oh God I bring this whole vision to you, the vision of Aboriginal people giving personal ‘Testimony of Jesus’ and the vision of 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting 2016. Thank you Lord for what you are doing with this vision for Australia, we are blessed.  “Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty – he is the King of glory.’ Psalm 24:9-10. Thank you Father for the prayers that have gone up for this nation and the prayers that will go up through this vision. Thank you for your word. Thank you for the word spoken for this nation as the great Southland of the Holy Spirit, we receive that you will fulfill your word and your purposes over Australia, over the Pacific Nations, and the Asian nations. 2 Chronicles 7:14 ‘If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.’ We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.”
